Why refer to us?
Our allergy specialty clinic leverages the power of technology to eliminate inefficiencies in the system — enabling us to focus on providing the best care possible to our patients.
Improve patient satisfaction
Delight your patients with zero wait times to speak with an allergy expert. Traditional allergists have 8-12 month wait lists to get tested, we average less than a week.
Minimal admin burden
We can accept referrals electronically or via fax. Our goal is to always eliminate or reduce as much admin burden as we can and welcome any feedback here.
The best treatment for patients
Our unique formulas and AI-assisted workflows enable our treatment plans to be 2.5x more effective than others. This means our patients save 2 years of treatment time and costs.
Let’s make effective allergy care accessible together.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What happens after I send a referral?
We will reach out to the patient via phone and email within 24-48 hours to set up their allergy test. We are typically able to offer an appointment within the week. Once their test results come back, we can typically get them treated within 2 weeks.
How does your testing work?
Depending on the patient’s location, we will offer them one of the following three options:
- Mobile Testing (Skin Prick Test) — This is available in select regions such as Calgary, Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Richmond. Skin Prick Testing has a slightly lower false positive rate when compared to IgE Blood Testing.
- Community Lab (IgE Blood Test) — We’ve partnered up with community labs across Canada to cover 98% of all postal codes across the country. IgE blood tests are also recommended for patients who are contraindicated for Skin Prick Testing.
How does your treatment work?
Biscuit Health uses Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) to help patients overcome their allergies. SLIT has been used effectively for over 30 years in Europe and the USA for long-term treatment of allergies.
Similar to allergy shots, SLIT targets the source of allergy symptoms by exposing the body to small amounts of allergens, retraining the body’s immune responses over time.
Our treatment kits are formulated in a Health Canada Approved facility before being shipped directly to the patients’ home. Our allergy experts provide 24/7 support digitally to patients.
How does Biscuit compare to allergy shots?
Both our treatment (SLIT) and allergy shots (SCIT) are forms of treatments that involve the repeated administration of allergens to desensitize the immune system — the difference is the method of administration.
Over 30 years of real-world & research evidence shows SLIT to be as effective, if not, more effective than allergy shots when administered correctly.
Our sublingual immunotherapy treatment leads the industry in both safety and concentrations of allergens. Our treatment exceeds the cumulative monthly doses of traditional allergy shots when our dosing schedule is followed (daily), allowing for lower treatment times and costs.

Where is Biscuit Health available?
We currently serve all provinces and territories of Canada with the exception of Quebec, which is coming soon.
What's the cost to the patient?
This depends on the patients’ insurance coverage. Testing and treatment are typically re-imbured at 80-100% for most policies. For non-insured patients, stand-alone testing is $300 and each year of treatment is $1,250.
